End of Summer!

Looks like trouble as junior year begins at Alta!

St. George with the Wohlers

On the way home from Vegas we stopped and met Leo and Sheri at their home in St. George. We went up to Snow Canyon, shopped, at a lot and looked at the new home they are trying to buy. While we were there they sold their house. We had a great time.

Emalee and Casey. They became the best of friends!

Las Vegas-The Venetian August 19-21

So, somehow we got 2 free nights at the Venetian in Las Vegas so Steve, Emalee and I decided to go down. Here's the sitting area.
The beds.

The Bathroom...........at least 4 times as big as mine at home.

The tub and shower.

Steve and I out by the pool the first night.

My view from my lounge chair at the pool.

Hallway by the lobby.

Hanging umbrellas by the escalators.

Jared and Jamie (Jim and Janice's boys) came to gamble with Steve.

Pic Emalee took of the Paris Hotel -Eiffel Tower as we walked down the strip for about 5 miles in the 111 degree heat. Thank heaven for the people selling water bottles for a dollar. They could have charged 5.00 a bottle and I would have happily paid it.

We stood here a while as it made us feel like we were cooling off.

Emalee and the wax figure of Whoopi!

Me in the lobby.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

How can you look at this cute picture and not want to break out into this song?

Raging Waters!

We went to Raging Waters on Sunday. What a perfect day for it. The weather was so great. I did lots of relaxing while everyone else did the waterslides. Colin pulled out the his own teeth right before coming and was very proud of himself! The toothless grin!

Lenkowski Party

Bill and Cherie Lenkowski had a party for our China co-workers Steve Chan and Fayer Lee. It was in their wonderful backyard. We had great food, music courtesy of their son Adam's band and lots of dancing! You know it's a good party when the cops come to break it up! HA!

Stansbury Park Triathalon

Sara did the Stansbury Park Triathalon last Saturday. It was a miserable day. Started pouring and lightning as soon as she got in the water. Really scary! She got the swim done and did half of the bike ride but then stopped as she was afraid she was going to slip and hurt her neck (again). I was glad since she is going to another MRI this week.

Off for the bike ride.
Coming out of the water.

Crazy people!

Ready, Set, GO!

All smiles to start!
